14 Ups & 1 Down From AEW Dynamite (Aug 22)

11. FTR Get Manipulative

FTR Tully Blanchard
AEW

Tully Blanchard's poison is already seeping into FTR - and the two parties have only been united for a week.

Dax Harwood, Cash Wheeler, and Adam Page are drinking buddies, but Hangman stormed into their post-match interview like FTR had spilt his pint. He wanted answers for the former Revival faking injury and attacking the Rock N' Roll Express. FTR, like prime Tully, manipulated Page into their way of thinking, talking him into accepting that they had to be crowned number one contenders in next week's tag team gauntlet. If it was The Young Bucks, Page would lose everything he'd fought for, they said. Hangman would go back into the Jackson brother's shadows, which is exactly where Matt and Nick want him.

A booze-addled Page took the poison, toasting with his "buddies." FTR talked him into believing that all they wanted was to face a man they claim to have the utmost respect for at All Out.

Blanchard loomed by the side, as sinister as ever, having used the preceding Alex Marvez interview to deliver a pep talk on being the best. This already feels like a match made in hell (in the best possible way).
