14 Ups & 14 Downs For WWE In 2018

12. DANCE BREAK!

R-Truth being used to inadvertently make plot-holes even wider on SmackDown Live in 2018 had already provided one of the best payoffs when he subverted the silliness by working his way back into a main event and admitting that was the plan all along, but the remnants of the entire idea weren't awful either.

Truth and Carmella's dance break may be rooted in the worst of WWE, but the comedic interlude is over, and thus in stark contrast to about three quarters of the roster.

By the looks of the empty seats on hard camera sides, the act isn't exactly drawing any new eyes, but at least it's widening the tired and weary existing ones for seven seconds.
