14 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Dynamite (16 Oct)

5. Top Of The Food Chain

AEW Dynamite's first-ever inset promo saw Jimmy Havoc unconvincingly fart his way through a diatribe on pain and blood and whatever the hell else a few weeks ago. Fortunately, last night's Jon Moxley offering was a marked improvement.

'The Purveyor of Violence' was hanging out in an empty arena. He spoke about re-establishing the pecking order in AEW, claiming that people were wrong to write him off after just a single injury. At Full Gear, Moxley is going to hurt Omega, put his head on the well, and prove that he is not to be "poked, prodded, or messed with," saying that all of this will be undeniable when he beats Kenny's *ss on 9 November.

While short, this snappy little promo ticked every box it needed to, and it was good to finally see Moxley getting some mic time in AEW. The guy's a great talker and they should really turn him loose more often.
