We’ll speak about the match in more depth later on, but you have to give massive respect to Trey Miguel for his performance vs. Sami Callihan. In highlights, ‘The Fresh Prince of Mid-Air’ suffered;
- being launched from the ring at the onset
- a Powerbomb on a production crate
- a wrench in his inside cheek
- a second-rope Piledriver onto a table that failed to break
- a Piledriver on the steel steps
- a scoop slam on the legs of an upside down table
He shouldn’t be walking right now. Your writer twisted and turned in his chair while watching the match, wincing at each bit of damage that was etched off of Trey’s health bar. The poor guy put his whole life into this one match, his first one-on-one pay-per-view match since January 2020’s Hard To Kill. He deserved this more than anyone – the win that is, not the extensive damage.
That f*cking table scoop slam, man.
