14 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Dynamite (Dec 4)

AEW Dynamite Commercials
AEW/TNT

The sheer volume of stories that AEW tried to squeeze into last night's episode of Dynamite was as impressive as ever, but led to a couple of notable angles playing out during commercial breaks.

Trent's post-match attack on Rey Fenix got the screen-in-screen treatment after their bout had already been interrupted for advertisements. Later, much of Shanna and Nyla Rose's brawl was featured the same way, with 'The Native Beast's' exclamation point (powerbombing the referee through a table then Shanna onto him) the main casualty.

Things like this happen with TV wrestling, though it's disappointing that these angles could have gone unseen by so many people. Perhaps trimming a few minutes off a couple of matches and re-assigning them here could've worked. Storyline developments need to be as visible as possible if AEW is to hook people into them.
