14 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Dynamite (Dec 4)

13. Motivations Revealed

The Butcher and The Blade Allie
AEW

Speaking of acts who needed a spot of promo time, here's 'The Bunny,' Allie, with The Butcher and The Blade, extrapolating on the previous week's ambush of Cody.

This was short but sweet. Allie claimed that her group's first order of chaos was attacking Cody. They are sick of seeing his face everywhere, so they're in his house to cause him pain and here to "cut the head off the snake." End promo.

The history between Allie and Cody's wife, Brandi Rhodes, informs all of this, as Allie was the first wrestler that the Chief Brand Officer f*cked with when Awesome Kong aided her victory at Fight for the Fallen. The group's aesthetic is remarkably similar to soon-to-be-free-agent Marty Scurll's, too, and with Cody and co. pieing off Scurll's New Year's party for AEW's launch announcement last year, there's exciting beef between 'The Villain' and 'The American Nightmare.'

That could be headcanon, admittedly, but it's fun to consider.
