14 Wrestlers Who Should Probably Regret Leaving WWE

8. Jeff Jarrett

After years of mid card success in the New Generation Era during the mid-90s, Jeff Jarrett ventured to WCW after a contract dispute where he signed a one year contract. After a year of wallowing in WCW mediocrity, Jarrett went back to the WWE for another two year run. There may not have been another athlete that jumped back and forth between two companies as much as Jeff Jarrett did in the late 1990's. In 1999, Jeff Jarrett jumped back to WCW where he became one of their more featured athletes and WCW World Champion. Sadly, with Jeff Jarrett at the top of the mountain, WCW started to go on a huge downward spiral on the business end. When WCW was officially purchased by WWE, Mr. McMahon made his feelings on Jeff Jarrett public on Monday Night Raw by saying that Jeff was officially gone. While Jarrett was able to use his experience in the wrestling business to start TNA Wrestling, there is no telling what heights his career would have went to if he didn't leave WWE in 1996 over contract issues.
