Bobby Lashley was a WWE sensation during his brief run with the company, taking part in the 'Battle Of The Billionaires' match that was largely responsible for making WrestleMania 23 one of the most successful pro wrestling shows ever. The 1.2 million buyrate was the largest in WWE history at the time. He was a typical Vince McMahon guy, jacked up to the maximum with muscles. But he left in 2008, with UFC aspirations being one of the factors. He had some degree of name factor, so it wasn't long before he was fighting in Strikeforce. That's where his MMA career first faltered, as he suffered a loss to Chad Griggs in 2010. But he's only been beaten once since then, and is currently on a six fight win streak. He's also fighting in Bellator, as one of their major stars. It's a good spot for him, at a decent level, in a growing brand. He could still end up in UFC, but his 39 year age may mean that the ship has already sailed.
