14 WWE Wrestlers Who Defied Gravity Before Neville

12. Shawn Michaels

Before his near career-ending injury, Shawn Michaels was quicker than a hiccup and a regular from the top turnbuckle. Of course, post-injury Michaels had to alter his style, but as a performer he'd arguably made himself even better. The Heartbreak Kid regularly used a Macho Man-style flying elbow and a perfect moonsault as part of his regular arsenal in his early days, but Shawn garnered such a reputation for himself that he ended up being one of a handful of men who defined the ladder match - which initially came along in the mid-90's. And who of course can forget the elbow from the top of that giant ladder at WrestleMania 22, on top of a fallen-and-binned Vince McMahon? Michaels' willingness to take risks and fly from all heights and angles is just one of the reasons why he's one of the best of all time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Evi3KzabMH4
