Netflix gives fans the chance to keep bang up to date with every episode of Raw and SmackDown in select markets, and that's honestly its biggest selling point. The retro stuff is there, but it isn't as fully-formed as anything from the past couple of years, at least not on the weekly TV front. It's refreshing to be able to include something as recent as this gem of a storyline then.

Bianca Belair took Jade Cargill under her wing as a tag-team partner in April/May 2024. Together, the pair successfully pulled the nose up on the sometimes good/sometimes crap Women's Tag Titles. They looked unreal on posters/graphics, and the duo were coming into their own inside the ring just as Cargill was struck down by injury in November. To explain that, WWE had someone lay Jade out backstage.

A 'whodunit' ensued, and it was eventually revealed that Cargill's replacement Naomi was the perpetrator. Naomi's heel turn was revealed during an amazing, emotional face to face between she and Bianca on the 7 March 2025 episode of SmackDown. No joke, everyone should move heaven and earth to see that segment. It's one of the best WWE has ever produced.

Jade had returned at Elimination Chamber: Toronto earlier that same month, and she launched headfirst into a feud with Naomi that peaked with a memorable Women's World Title win for the heel before she announced she was pregnant and went on maternity leave. Once she returns, they can definitely pick things back up again.

Naomi vs. Belair has real potential long term, but you can enjoy the build towards it all over again.

Top Recommendation: That aforementioned promo skit between Bianca and Naomi from the 7 March 2025 SmackDown.
