At WrestleMania 23, that years Royal Rumble winner The Undertaker, faced the most legit threat to The Streak up until this point, World Heavyweight Champion Batista, with the gold on the line. Oddly enough, this match wasnt that years main event. After being put in the middle of the card, it pi$$ed these two guys off. These two big men stole the show, complete with false finishers, and high impact action which included a running power slam through the announce table. This was the total opposite of a plodding big man match, it also featured one of the few times Batista ever came off the top rope. Furthermore, this match was the beginning of The Undertakers late career excellence, and sealed Batistas long-term reputation as a big time star. According to various accounts, and interviews, Batista dropped the infamous FOLLOW THAT! in the locker room after the match. Who was the crowd cheering? - Fans respected Batista, but were solidly behind The Undertaker.
