15 Best Ever Storyteller Wrestlers

7. Chris Jericho

Over the 25 years of his career, Jericho has established himself as an incredible performer, and an amazing storyteller regardless of the character he portrays. The best example of his storytelling ability in the ring came from WrestleMania XIX, where he took on his once idol, €˜The Heartbreak Kid€™, Shawn Michaels. Jericho had idolised HBK for his whole career, but jealousy would get the better of him and make him turn on the recently returned legend. The match itself was a show-stealer, and Jericho, despite coming up short with a loss to Michaels, played his role perfectly. Always trying to one-up his opponents, especially on this occasion where he attempted to prove himself better than his old hero, Jericho would connect with a Sweet Chin Music of his own during the match and attempt to pin Mr. WrestleMania in the middle of the ring. This alone embodied Jericho€™s will to humiliate Michaels, and he pulled it off tremendously.
