15 Best Ever Storyteller Wrestlers

8. Triple H

€˜The Cerebral Assassin€™ has always been great at in-ring storytelling. As a heel, he always did a brilliant job of making his opponent look like a million bucks to the audience, and he was so good that he could get the fans behind his opponents any day of the week, no matter who he faced. A great recent example of this came at WrestleMania 30 where Triple H took on Daniel Bryan in the opening match. Make no mistake, Bryan€™s popularity was 100% organic, but Triple H played a great role in that night becoming the biggest in Bryan€™s career. Their match delivered after the hype, with Triple H dominating for the most part. He went after Bryan€™s previously injured shoulder with a methodical approach, trying to prevent Bryan from locking in his submission finisher. He wanted to humiliate Bryan and put an early finish to the Yes Movement, but would come up short when Bryan delivered a high knee for the victory. Triple H, irate, would do even more damage to Bryan€™s injured shoulder with a steel chair, which only made Bryan look tougher than a $2 steak, as Jim Ross would say. He€™d come back out during the main event, but he€™d already done his job, and added to the list of things that Daniel Bryan overcame that night to become WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
