15 Best Instrumental Entrance Themes In WWE History

9. Ric Flair (Thus Spake Zarathrustra)

If you thought that we were done with turn of the century composers with Randy Savage then let me put forward the theme of the legendary Nature Boy Ric Flair. Flair's theme is from a piece of music called Thus Spake Zarathrustra (or Chicken Run for any Peep Show fans) by Richard Strauss.

The piece originally entered modern pop culture when it was used in the film 2001: A Space Odyssey. When the world of wrestling needed something to usher in the arrival of the limousine riding, jet flying, kiss stealing, wheelin’ n dealin’ son of a gun, no other theme would do. It’s a fittingly inflated piece that could infuriate audiences, laced in a sense of grandeur few could deny that the man himself didn’t come to deserve later in his career.

Flair’s theme is still doing the rounds today as Charlotte uses a remixed version, adding a modern digital edge to a musical icon of WWE past.
