7. The Rock Vs. Triple H - 60 Min Iron Man Match For WWE Title (Judgement Day 2000)

There aren't many wrestlers who can go an hour and keep fans glued to the action. Wrestling sixty minutes is a draining experience and there are only a few who have done it successfully in WWE previously. Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart have done it, Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle have done it and so too have The Rock and Triple H. The Game and The Great went for sixty minutes at Judgement Day 2000 with Shawn Michaels as the special guest referee. They were on the top of their game and contested a superbly built and heated match that had a wild finish. It was a great effort that saw the two wrestlers giving it their all and busting out moves and sequences that they hadn't used before (or since). It also had some neat bits of psychology, such as Triple H hitting Rock with a chair and sacrificing a fall but getting a fall himself from it and hurting The Rock more in the process. The match was tied five falls to five with two minutes left when the shenanigans started. First DX ran in and started beating down on The Rock when The Undertaker returned (his first appearance as the American Badass) and cleaned house, chokeslamming everything in sight as the crowd lost their collective minds. Referee Michaels disqualified The Rock and Triple H just won the match. It was a great piece of business in what was a banner year for the WWF. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yVQR9Cs6If8
