15 Best WWE Moments Of The Decade (So Far)

14. The Debut Of The Shield - Survivor Series 2012

There are many ways you can debut an act in WWE but the odds are that none of them will have the impact of The Shield's debut at the 2012 Survivor Series. Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose made their collective debuts during the CM Punk/John Cena/Ryback top-liner, attacking Cena and Ryback. The moment that the group that would come to be known as The Shield triple powerbombed Ryback through the announce table, you knew that WWE had big plans for them. The stable's first WWE pay-per-view outing, the sensational TLC match against Ryback and Team Hell No, proved that they could carry the weight of expectation and deliver in the ring. From there The Shield went from strength to strength, having great matches with everybody. The three men grew in the role and announced themselves as the future of the WWE. For much of December 2012 to their premature breakup on the June 2nd 2014 Raw they were the best thing on WWE television. Since the breakup all three members have tried to carve out an identity for themselves as singles stars to varying degrees of success. We can expect to see a lot more from Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns for the rest of the decade. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ai3UHS95sGs
