3. Shane McMahon's Insane Fall And Steve Blackman's Jump (2000)
It seemed like a bizarre matchup just because Shane McMahon was often times feuding with major names. There were matches with midcarders like X-Pac and Test, but those had good storylines. When he feuded with Steve Blackman it was pretty random. To their credit, though, they did something great. The match saw McMahon do what he could to get away from Blackman by climbing up the side of the SummerSlam set. Beneath it was some kind of black padding. It's not like it was totally cushion, though. Shane ended up going up about 30 or 40 feet. We have no idea what it really was, but it was as high as anybody has ever taken a bump from. When Blackman hit him in the back with a kendo stick, Shane went down and took a major fall. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6nMp4Z51-nE Blackman could have just climbed down to cover Shane in order to win the match, but he decided to climb down a bit and he dropped an elbow on McMahon. He covered for the win and the Hardcore Title. Crazy bumps like that are definitely among the most memorable SummerSlam moments.
