This isn't here because Zeus was some great pro wrestler. He sucked. He's one of the worst guys that there's ever been in a WWE ring. However, as a 9 year old kid watching this with my friends this is one of those moments I'll never forget. The crowd was amazing for this tag match with Hulk Hogan teaming up with Brutus Beefcake against Randy Savage and Zeus. It seemed like all Zeus knew how to do was choke people. However, they did everything right in terms of building up the storyline and the moment when Savage hit that top rope elbow drop on Hogan it looked like that was it. Instead, Hogan popped right up. Keep in mind that Hogan wasn't somebody I really liked, but everybody else did and I admit I got caught up in it too. Hogan knew how to fire up the crowd like nobody else. When he had the showdown with Zeus after 20 minutes it was like they were squaring off in the movie No Holds Barred again. It looked like Hogan couldn't knock him down and when it happened the arena exploded. Hogan had the loaded purse of Sherri (Savage's manager) and that was enough to slow down Zeus. That led to Hogan hitting a bodyslam and leg drop for the win. That showdown with Hogan and Zeus was a big deal. We'd probably criticize it too much in today's wrestling, but 25 years ago that was the definition of a great memorable moment.
