10. Macho Man Marries Elizabeth And Is Met With A Snake (1991)
It's the only time in wrestling history where you're going to see a wedding main event a PPV, but it's also the only time where it actually deserved it just because "Macho Man" Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth deserved it. Following their reunion at WrestleMania 7, Savage proposed to her. Savage couldn't wrestle in WWE because he lost a Career Match to Ultimate Warrior at WM7, but the wedding was set for SummerSlam. In real life they were already married, but this was the officially acknowledgement of it in the storyline. It went off without a hitch. The reason this is here is because of the awesome angle that took place at the reception. Technically it wasn't on the SummerSlam PPV because it aired on weekend WWE programming, but it's close enough that it's going to be included. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0g6bpr8dwz4 As Savage was opening gifts with Elizabeth, there was a box that had a snake it. Then Jake "The Snake" Roberts showed up with The Undertaker at his side and Roberts taunted Savage & Liz with the snakes. It was such a random thing, but it set the wheels in motion for a great Savage/Roberts feud for later in 1991.
