15 Biggest Losers In WWE SummerSlam History
12. CM Punk (4 Losses)
It’s getting pretty busy in this 'four loss club', as CM Punk
becomes the latest inductee having tasted defeat in 2007, 2010, 2011 and 2013.
2007 saw him put in an admirable shift against John Morrison in his bid for the ECW Championship, but 2010 was rather less impressive as he succumbed to defeat against Big Show in three-on-one handicap action with The Straight Edge Society's Joseph Mercury and Luke Gallows in his corner.
The other two instances were rather more understandable. The first came after Alberto Del Rio cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase -following a run-in from Kevin Nash, of all people while the second was against Brock Lesnar, as the Beast overcame the Best in an awesome contest.
Coincidentally,, each of those losses had a corresponding victory sandwiched in-between, including a huge win over John Cena just moments before Del Rio’s cash-in, and his epic TLC clash with Jeff Hardy in 2009.
50/50 booking at its finest, with Punk’s final record standing at 4-4.
