15 Biggest Remaining WWE Hall Of Fame Snubs

13. Davey Boy Smith

Davey Boy is an interesting case for the WWE Hall Of Fame, because there's a big difference between his in-ring career and his life away from the ring. If you're strictly referring to his career, he was largely successful, both as a tag team worker and a singles star. He had flirtations with the main event scene, as well as being a very solid midcard worker. He won a title on seven different occasions while with the WWF, and participated in some of the best and most memorable matches in company history. Away from the ring, his issues with painkiller addiction and steroid abuse make him one of the poster boys for the "drug culture" in wrestling. That's probably not something WWE would want to deal with if they were inducting him, as you know there are parts of the media that would mention nothing but the drugs when discussing Davey Boy. Of course, this would be another posthumous induction, if done, but that is becoming increasingly more difficult to avoid with each passing year, as all these names pass away at an early age due to the stress and strain the business placed upon them.
