8. Hunter's Women Woes Part One

Who's Involved: Kurt Angle, Stephanie McMahon and Triple H What Happened: Despite being an amateur wrestler and having done about three interviews in his life, Kurt Angle took to the E in WWE like a duck to water. He was able to highlight his quick wit, comedic timing and natural showmanship in front of the lights and cameras with such ease and grace. He was given no better opportunity in the spotlight than a feud with The Game, a backstage politician and main event player. In the middle of it all was the billion dollar princess who happened to be the apple of both men's eyes, the problem for Angle was that Steph and Hunter were already a couple; that didn't stop the Olympic gold medalist from seeking out the McMahon daughter though. Steph would manage both wrestlers at different points during 2000 and after weeks of classic Attitude Era borderline and suggestive comedy segments, Angle was continually knocked back, however, he finally planted a kiss on Steph to an unfavourable reaction at the go-home Raw before Unforgiven. Trips took his anger out on Angle during their No Disqualification match at the PPV while Steph showed her true alliance by nailing Angle in the nether regions to allow her hubby to score the pin. Who Lost Out: It's hard to say because both men played their parts beautifully throughout the story, leaving them both looking strong coming out of it. Angle's nuts were the only victims in this killer feud.
