Though Nick Novak played on a lot of NFL teams, he has nothing on Josh Johnson in terms of being a journeyman. It would almost be easier to name the teams Johnson has not been affiliated with, as his career spanned 13 teams in just 11 years.

Though he never actually took to the field for all of them, being cut from pre-season squads on multiple occasions, Josh Johnson's name has been on the books of the Bucs, 49ers (twice), Browns, Bengals (twice), Jets, Colts, Bills, Ravens, Giants, Texans, Raiders, Redskins, and finally Lions.

Even after being taken as the ninth quarterback in the XFL draft by the Los Angeles Wildcats, the Lions tried to bring their former man back, but his contractual obligations to the XFL stopped this from going any further. After the Wildcats traded their first quarterback pick, Luis Perez, to New York, Josh Johnson is all but assured the starting job for their first game against Houston.
