15 Former NFL Players In Vince McMahon's XFL

9. Donnel Pumphrey

Donnel Pumphrey, former San Diego State running back, was taken in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL draft. Three years later, the 25 year old is heading to the XFL after never actually appearing in a single NFL game. What makes this even more bizarre, is that Pumphrey still managed to grab himself a Superbowl ring.

The running back signed a four year deal after being drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles, but after falling down to fourth in the team's running back pecking order, and suffering a torn hamstring, he never made it onto the field. However since he was technically part of the Eagles team that beat the Patriots, he is technically a Superbowl winner.

After being cut by the Eagles, and failing to make it past the Lions' practice squad in 2018, Donnel Pumphrey was taken in the seventh round of the XFL draft by the DC Defenders.
