15 Great Wrestlers Lost In WWE's Mid-Card

13. Emma

When Emma left NXT, she did so as the most over female performer on the developmental roster. Her quirkiness and clumsiness helped set her apart from the rest of the girls and enabled her to connect with the audience in ways the others could only dream of. Her bubble popping, foot stomping entrance, complete with struggling to get in the ring, was original and only added to the persona she had created for herself. Upon making her way to the main roster, Emma faded quickly. Presented as a comedy act, the romantic interest of Santino Marella, she disappeared from the airwaves upon the revelation that Marella would be forced into retirement due to a neck injury. A real life legal issue sent her deeper into the dark abyss of the midcard, where she remains now. The silver lining in Emma's otherwise blackened storm clouds is the fact that, based on what fans have seen during recent episodes of NXT, as well as her social media accounts, is that the Aussie appears to be undergoing a character change. Dismayed by what her career has been to this point, she has repeatedly pointed out that the fans of NXT lie, that their cheers fail to prepare the Superstars and Divas for what awaits when they venture onto Raw and SmackDown. That could make for a quality character at some point in the near future but for now, she easily ranks as the Diva lowest on the totem pole. Yes, even lower than Cameron.
