15 Great Wrestlers Lost In WWE's Mid-Card

8. Damien Mizdow

Damien Mizdow is a character that never should have gotten over to the extent that it has. He was a living, breathing cartoon character, completely over the top and comical. He was the lovable sidekick of The Miz, the one who garnered sympathy because of the mistreatment he endured at the hands of the former WWE champion. Though a talented in-ring competitor during his run as a heel years earlier, he was a comedy act at best. Every time he bumped at ringside, performing one of The Miz's trademark maneuvers on air, the cheers grew louder for the man once known as the Intellectual Savior of the Unwashed Masses. And as the pops for his arrival increased in volume, Mizdow continued to find himself lost in the midcard. There was no real growth from his increased popularity. Instead, WWE Creative dragged out the breakup between he and Miz. When it finally happened at WrestleMania, during the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal one could not help but think it would have been much hotter had it come two months earlier. Now, Mizdow remains in the midcard, battling Miz over...well nothing, really. And with a logjam of talent vying for a top position in WWE, the likelihood that Mizdow makes it out of crowded midcard is slim. No matter how popular he is.
