Whoo, boy.

Kevin Sullivan and his flour-caked Master started the Dungeon of Doom with a clear mission. To that end, they began recruiting villains so cartoonish that the Legion of Doom wouldn't have them. Not Hawk and Animal, Black Manta and the Toyman. Sullivan was their Taskmaster, and he led them into countless battles against Hulk Hogan.

As the war wore on, however, the Dungeon seemed to expand its membership at the expense of their branding. Suddenly, you didn't have to have crappy facepaint and your own fog machine as long as you were willing to show up, and their ranks swelled with the likes of Hugh Morrus and Big Bubba. By the end, the Dungeon was reduced to hapless foot soldiers in Kevin Sullivan's years-long divorce angle with Chris Benoit.
