The backstory of The Brood was never really explained; Edge showed up first as an all-purpose silent goth in a pleather trench coat. Gangrel showed up two months later working a Vampire: The Masquerade gimmick in a Fabio blouse, and then Christian showed up a month after that wearing the same thing. Where can all this goth intrigue be leading?
Gangrel ultimately seduced both Edge and Christian to his side, and together they pursued such fiendish ends as drinking stage blood, drinking stage blood from a chalice, and dousing their fallen foes with stage blood. They briefly joined up with the Ministry of Darkness, memorably murdering the Big Bossman by hanging before defecting after Undertaker demanded Christian face a flogging.
