15 Greatest WCW Tag Teams Of All Time

4. The Rock And Roll Express

Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson, or 'Punky' and 'Hoot' those behind the scenes, were one of the most talented tag teams in professional wrestling history. They were high-flying and charismatic with an undeniably unique look. They took southern wrestling by storm during the 1980s and had great matches wherever they went. They also had a sizeable female following, despite not exactly being the best looking guys in the world. Their secret? They could sell just about better than anybody. Selling was the most important thing in the business in the 1980s. It was how money was made, at the end of the day. You took a beating, made the fans feel your pain and suffering, made a comeback and, depending on the result, had the fans hooked for the rematch. It was a simple formula but it worked. The team started losing a little bit of steam in the 90s but still found success in WCW, Smokey Mountain Wrestling and, occasionally, the WWF. Old school through and through, the team are still going strong today on the independent scene. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EmSoc_91tts
