The young, good looking babyface tag team was a staple of professional wrestling in the 1980's and early 90's, before the era of the cool heel made them outdated and almost obsolete. Talented high-flier 2 Cold Scorpio and a pre-Buff Marcus Bagwell were one of the surprising highlights of WCW from February 1993 to April 1994 where they often had entertaining and hard-fought midcard contests with the likes of The Nasty Boys, Pretty Wonderful and Harlem Heat amongst others. Bagwell kept to basic tag team wrestling while Scorpio provided the flare. His 450 splash finisher was unlike anything seen in wrestling at the time and the team developed a decent following. Bagwell and Scorpio briefly held the WCW Tag Team Championship but split up after Scorpio was fired from the company. Bagwell formed many tag teams during his early WCW career including Stars and Stripes (with The Patriot) and The American Males (with Scotty Riggs) but his team with Scorpio was the best of the bunch.
