Roman Reigns deftly foreshadowed Paul Heyman's swerve later in the evening by opting for a red glove for his show-opening match with Seth Rollins.

This is nothing new. Reigns has worn the red glove before, though it always attracts a bit of social media attention. That's why it was a good move here: it made people pay attention without making what would happen later in the night blatantly obvious.

Paul Heyman's sartorial choice for Brock Lesnar vs. Bobby Lashley raised eyebrows. Matching Reigns' glove with his tie, the former ECW chief hinted at turning on Lesnar and becoming a 'Wise Man' once more, killing off his latest 'Advocate' run.

When this transpired and Brock left the Lashley match without his WWE Title, while Reigns and Heyman watched on from the stage, the effort paid off.
