The inclusion of Charlotte Flair into Becky Lynch's golden ticket title shot against Carmella provided a fairly cut-and-dried Women's Title clash with a unique twist.

'The Queen' is without doubt the alpha female of the blue brand. A virtually indestructible force that slipped only once but in a manner that subsequently had disastrous consequences - Carmella's unthinkable reign.

'The Irish Lass Kicker' had a seemingly smooth road back to glory ahead until her best friend's intervention, and will lose here too, with the match acting as a new opening chapter to a rivalry with Charlotte rather than a closing one with the outgoing titleholder.

Becky Lynch Vs. Charlotte Flair is a match worthy of the lofty status it'll be afforded on October's Evolution pay-per-view, whilst Carmella can consider her own reign with the title a broad success for character work over in-ring finesse. An improvement with the latter wouldn't go amiss if she did end up back atop the division in the future, however.
