Sasha Banks deserves better.

Well, realistically, Queen Zelina, Carmella, Naomi, Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan, Natalya, Shayna Baszler and Sasha Banks deserve better, but the most egregious crime committed here is the one against 'The Boss'.

WWE's women's division is a low key disaster in 2022 and not enough people are talking about that, but it shows itself to be a sham most potently through the plight of last year's WrestleMania main eventer. She returned to maximise her few minutes in the Royal Rumble, and has formed a makeshift partnership with Naomi for barely-fleshed out reasons in a match that's expanded without her having any say-so.

And for the sake of some drama, it's going to get bigger. Multi-woman matches have featured every year at WrestleMania in spite of the so-called Women's Revolution, rendering the company line about equality to be complete b*llocks. Long-standing absentees Bayley and Asuka will return as yet another cobbled-together team on the night, winning it all as people do side-by-sides with The Hardy Boyz' 2017 return.

They'll at least be over, unlike everybody in the match beyond Banks herself.

Winners - Bayley & Asuka
