Bobby Lashley's omission from this year's card and likely victory in the pre-Mania Andre The Giant Battle Royal is criminal, but he was at least set to work the show before problems arose with Bray Wyatt and the match was binned entirely. And speaking of that, Wyatt's one and only televised bout took place at the Royal Rumble when he was booked to defeat LA Knight in a commercial for Mountain Dew masquerading as a match.

The two of them might find themselves booked against each other, though it looks nailed on that 'The All-Mighty' will win the Andre The Giant Battle Royal on the go-home SmackDown to try and salvage something - anything - out of the biggest weekend of the year.

What then for Knight? On an island despite the location literally being his name, Knight should use the 'Show Of Shows' to run his mouth on anybody he sees. This could be Xavier Woods, who appears to be completely alone until his injured New Day partners Big E and Kofi Kingston help chase the loudmouth off and reunite on camera for the first time in well over a year.

These are simply nice solutions to booking cul-de-sacs rather than creative ones, but that's exactly the tone WWE should be taking in any kind of post-Vince McMahon era anyway.
