A potential match-of-the-night, two of the storyline hardest - if not the storyline hardest - men in the company will attempt to wrestle the Intercontinental Championship away from Gunther and, in failing, will fall apart at the seams in the process.

Cast as lifelong friends-turned-enemies-turned-friends on television, Sheamus and Drew McIntyre have managed to stake their own valid claims for the secondary strap, with 'The Celtic Warrior' in particular desperate to complete a belt collection he started all the way back in 2009. Increasingly insecure in his own skin after some significant setbacks over the last couple of years, McIntyre got a little crueller ahead of a SmackDown contract signing and made no secret of his belief that he was the better man.

United, they might have been stronger, but divided they'll fall. McIntyre taking the fall after ideally absorbing a Brogue Kick before Gunther wraps it up should inform his overdue heel turn, and leave Sheamus still wanting for now.

Winner - Gunther
