15 HUGE WWE WrestleMania 39 Predictions You Need To Know

With just eight days left before the event, WWE finally made one of the longest-standing stories official, highlighting yet again how well they've measured the gravitas and silliness of this Father Vs Son programme. From the dropped Domimic-at-ringside element of Rey's squash loss to Samoa Joe at WrestleMania 35 in 2019, the son and his "Deadbeat Dad" have seemed destined to clash, and Dominik joining The Judgment Day last September kicked off one of finer programmes in recent memory.

Eight months to get here, eight days to get ready for it. Ending it straight away seems wasteful, let alone disappointing. Nothing about the (frankly incredible) build to this has suggested that WWE can't nail the end presentation and walk the fine line between action and comedy that's necessary for it to work.

So much so, that they'll set the newly-minted Hall-Of-Famer up for a fall. A Hair Vs Mask rematch at Backlash sets the stage for something more definitive, and with Damian Priest running interference, the little brat can hide his weaknesses even more effectively than his Da hides his face.

Electric chair or we riot, too.

Winner - Dominik Mysterio
