15 Injured WWE Stars (And When They're Set To Return)

4. Sami Zayn

There's no such thing as a "good" injury, but Sami Zayn needed a break. 'The Underdog From The Underground' had been working hurt for a long time. His right shoulder had never fully healed following surgery in 2015, and he tore both rotator cuffs sometime earlier this year, despite working a full programme with Bobby Lashley (including their truncated Money in the Bank match).

Sami has targeted a Q1 2019 comeback. This isn't impossible, and he did undergo surgery on the left shoulder ahead of schedule, so here's hoping.

Expected return: The optimistic estimate is that he'll be back before WrestleMania 35.
