Though currently slated to face Johnny Gargano and new NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa on 18 August, Aleister Black's status is now up in the air after incurring an unspecified injury on a house show.

Upon breaking the story, Dave Meltzer noted that nobody has been made aware of a timeframe. The good news is that Black has already had surgery, and could return to action in Brooklyn next weekend, with the producers laying out a Triple Threat in which his activity is limited, so we'll likely learn more over the coming days.

Estimated return: Unknown, but could compete at TakeOver: Brooklyn 4.
