Rumble He Drew '14': 2011 How Was He Cursed?: To show just how much Vince McMahon loves and cherishes wrestlers with a certain body type, there was a time when Chris Masters was on the verge of being a main event worker, having multiple shots at the WWE Title, even though he wasn't a very good wrestler. As the years went on, though, he was pushed less and less, and would go from being more of a serious character to being nothing more than comic relief in his random appearances on television. In 2011, he was relegated to pretty much nothing but Superstars and NXT (back when NXT was their "try-out" show, and not a hot third "brand") duty. He did make a handful of appearances on Smackdown, but lost every match. He moved from Smackdown to Raw in the 2011 Supplemental Draft, but didn't have a single match on Raw, and three months after the Draft, he was released from the company altogether. In the summer of 2012, Masters posted a picture on Twitter of himself with a gun aimed at his head, receiving a tremendous amount of heat for it. He was rumored to have been drunk at the time, but either way, he was forced to apologize and to try and convince the world that he wasn't suicidal. All in all, another fall from grace for someone who was in the Rumble at #14.
