The highest attendance that Punk helped to draw was 80,676 for WrestleMania 29 in New Jersey. However, that was WWE's announced number, the reality was likely a good few thousand less. What also needs to be considered is that Punk's match with The Undertaker was just one of several co-main events. The Rock vs John Cena was the marquee match. Still, when tickets first went on sale for that show, CM Punk was WWE Champion. He was also the second most key full time worker in the company. He deserves some credit for the attendance record that WWE set that night, which stands to this day as the second highest attended event in WWE history. Although, when you consider that WrestleMania 3's record setting 93,173 fans was said to be greatly inflated, you could even argue that Mania 29 is the true record holder.
