15 MORE Wrestlers WWE Debuted In The Worst Way Possible

10. Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch is one of the greatest pro wrestlers of the 21st century (and it's not just us saying it etc.). A true all-rounder, Becky Lynch is great on the mic, superb in the ring, and exceptional at keeping her character alive on social media in the moments that she isn't on air, but things didn't start so smoothly.

A lot of the early days of NXT are praised because they avoided so many of the stereotypes and bad gimmicks that befell WWE superstars, but Becky Lynch was not so lucky. Somebody in the creative department observantly noticed that Becky is of Irish descent, and so what better way to get her over than by having her really lean into that and make Becky Irish jig.

Not content with having this ridiculousness foisted upon her, she would also do the jig in the middle of her matches, and be given the task of shouting "diddly diddly dee" while doing so. Thankfully, this idea was given the shove shortly after her 26th June, 2014 NXT debut, and we are now blessed to have Becky be treated as a superstar in her own right, instead of being pigeonholed by her nationality.
