15 Most Important WWE Raw Episodes In History

8. The First Episode - January 11th, 1993

The series première of Raw was obviously a hugely important episode in the show history, getting the ball rolling for what would become a sensation. It totally changed the concept of televised pro wrestling, and endeavoured to offer pay per view quality attractions on tv, while building angles for future matches. It was a winning formula, one that is still being applied today. It did a 2.5 rating, with the show being a one hour live run. Looking back, it was nothing amazing, but the Raw you watch today simply wouldn't exist without that first show. More important things would happen in Raw's future development, but that first episode was a solid starting foundation.
