Although success in the professional wrestling industry ultimately (or most commonly) comes down to organic in ring talent, it can also be helped by several other elements. Some of these elements include your mic skills, gimmick, look and most relevantly to this article, sound.

A wrestler's entrance music can be a make or break deal in the eyes of some fans. Names such as Bobby Roode and Shinsuke Nakamura enjoyed tremendous fan support for a time thanks to their music, while other wrestlers are constantly badgered by fans to have their theme changed. In rarer cases, an entrance theme can become a staple part of a wrestler's character, and help them to earn a reaction from the crowd (let us not forget Kurt Angle’s ‘you suck’ chants in time with his music).

Throughout the history of WWE, hundreds if not thousands of wrestlers have walked down that famous ramp on Raw, SmackDown, ECW, Heat, Main Event, Superstars or NXT and have brought dozens of amazing tunes with them. This article will count down the 15 most adrenaline pumping, foot tapping, head banging and heart pounding anthems WWE have ever utilised.

15. Rob Van Dam - One of a Kind

The duty of opening this list falls onto the shoulders of one of WWE’s most underrated world champions of all time. The almost unrivaled athleticism of Rob Van Dam made him an instant fan favourite and his extreme antics had seemingly no limits.

As one of the best hardcore wrestlers of the modern era, RVD debuted as a WWE wrestler as part of infamous 2001 Invasion storyline after spells with both WCW and ECW. Not only is Rob Van Dam a six-time Intercontinental Champion, but he is also the only person to hold both the ECW Championship and WWE Championship simultaneously.

RVD has walked the ramp to various tunes in his long decorated career, but none were quite as catchy or as fitting as ‘One of a Kind’. Given his extreme wrestling tendencies, unique offense and unmatched agility, Rob Van Dam truly is one of a kind.
