15 Most Rock N Roll WWE Themes Of All Time

3. CM Punk - Cult Of Personality

Having already appeared in this list, CM Punk’s huge cultural presence in wrestling is solidified further more by being the only person we've mentioned twice. Originally released in 1988, this Living Colour single was resurrected from the back catalogue of American '80s rock when CM Punk adopted it in 2011.

Punk took on this entrance theme for his new anti-McMahon and unapologetic truth speaking persona. This gimmick was born following his ‘pipe bomb’ speech and return to WWE after ‘quitting’ the company the night before, when he won the WWE Championship from John Cena. ‘Cult of Personality’ suited CM Punk’s character astonishingly well, to the point where one of CM Punk’s nicknames from commentary became the Cult of Personality for a time.

Sadly, Punk quit WWE on infamously bad terms in 2014 and promptly announced his retirement from wrestling altogether, saying he had no interest in returning to the sport in the future.
