2. Edge - Metalingus
Following the breakup of Creed in 2004, people were unsure what fate awaited the former members. But, the recruitment of Myles Kennedy on vocals saw the formation of Alter Bridge and the almost immediate release of this iconic '00s rock song.
‘Metalingus’ was of course helped to its superstardom status when Edge decided to take it on as his new entrance music shortly after its release. Edge’s almost consistent status as a main eventer in WWE throughout the 2000s and early 2010s meant that ‘Metalingus’ was boomed across the world on almost every major WWE event for almost ten years.
Now amongst the most instantly recognisable entrance themes in all of professional wrestling, ‘Metalingus’ was heard once more at the 2020 Royal Rumble, when Edge returned to one of the most thunderous crowd receptions in recent memory.
