15 Most Rock N Roll WWE Themes Of All Time

4. The Rock

As one of the most famous wrestlers of all time and father of the industry's most well-known catchphrase, this list would simply be incomplete without including The Rock. Although this isn’t the heaviest song to feature here by a long shot, the iconic guitar solo and electrifying atmosphere make it one of the most universally recognised WWE themes ever.

When The Rock debuted for WWE under the name Rocky Maivia in 1996, nobody thought he would go on to become one of the most famous people on the planet. Johnson wouldn’t begin referring to himself as The Rock until 1997, following a return from a knee injury earlier that year. This also marked his first run as a heel when he joined The Nation of Domination alongside Kama Mustafa, Faarooq and D'Lo Brown.

The iconic entrance theme would debut shortly after and would be reprised, remixed and redone several times over the years and decades that followed. One thing that never changed though was the song's ability to cause any arena to explode as soon as the first note struck.
