15 Most Touching Daniel Bryan Twitter Tributes From His Fellow WWE Superstars

The most heartwarming tributes for Daniel Bryan from the superstars of the WWE and NXT.

Daniel Bryan's tearful goodbye to the WWE Universe at the end of Monday's Raw made for a heartbreaking sight. However, between plugging a charity and getting in a joke about having sex with his wife, it quickly became clear that Bryan is still very much the same guy we all loved watching fight his way to the main event of WrestleMania, and that the news his career is over hasn't broken his spirit. Both before and after that took place, #ThankYouDanielBryan was trending worldwide. While that gave fans the opportunity to express their gratitude for everything Bryan has done in the squared circle, dozens of current and former WWE superstars also didn't hesitate to weigh in with their thoughts and messages for the fan-favourite wrestler. However, as great as they all were, some stand out from the crowd! Coming from both expected and unexpected names, those responsible for these Tweets either have a personal history with Bryan or are just grateful for what they achieved with him in the ring (and in some cases, the way his accomplishments kicked open doors for them). They're all extremely moving regardless, and may just have you reaching for the hankies as quickly as Bryan's speech did at the end of Raw...

Yes, this is a pretty standard Tweet (hence why it doesn't place higher), but after seeing Vince McMahon visibly crying after Raw went off the air as he joined the rest of the locker room for a hearty "YES!" chant, it feels like a much bigger deal. The fact is, Vince didn't need to give Bryan that main event platform to retire on and certainly didn't have to let him run over by a good twenty minutes or more. Even just the hug he gave him up on the stage serves as proof that he cares about and will no doubt miss the wrester who - whether he liked it or not at the time - changed the game forever when he was propelled into the main event of WrestleMania. Of course, the dirt sheets have painted Vince as something of a real-life villain in recent months, indicating that he was stopping Bryan's return out of fear of yet another Mania main event being hijacked. That's not it all all though; he clearly cares about the leader of the Yes Movement, and while this Tweet only just manages to show that, coupling it with his actions later in the night makes all the difference.
