Wow.

Cody Rhodes looked sensational against Seth Rollins during 'Mania 38's first night. Seeing Seth smash it in-ring against someone who feels totally fresh was a real treat, and it added to the spectacle of the first card. Now, the next step is having Cody explain what he hopes to achieve now he's back in WWE.

He'll surely cut a long promo on Monday night that'll set the scene for this. Fingers crossed they don't script Rhodes to pretend that he was twiddling his thumbs for six years though - the announcers kinda/sorta/almost alleged that Cody was doing just that. Nobody expected them to mention AEW, but come on.

The loudest words can go unspoken on Raw. All Rhodes has to do is rant and rave about how he's one of the best pro wrestlers on the planet and wants to show how much he's improved since 2016. The rest will take care of itself.

Fans are fully capable of connecting the dots.
