15 New Directions For WWE After WrestleMania 38

4. Triple H As WWE GM

WrestleMania 38's second night opened with the powerful visual of a visibly-emotional Triple H laying his working boots down in the ring. That was his way of saying goodbye to an incredible in-ring career, and it was enough to have tears streaming down the cheeks of some in Dallas.

'The Game' has ended, but he'll surely still have a role to play on WWE television. Trips is one hell of a talker when he's motivated, and if talking is all he has left then he'll make the most of it. This could be the company's chance to oust Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville from power too.

The GM role has Hunter written all over it.

This is a guess, but would anybody really be surprised if Triple H marched out on the Raw after 'Mania and told the world that he was calling the shots on the flagship and SmackDown from now on? That'd be an easy way to keep him on-screen.
