One can envision a confused Vince McMahon decreeing that Chad Gable needs to change his name. After all, wrestling fans can't handle two dudes with the name Gable, can they? They can, but WWE don't like this sort of thing - they want everybody to have their 'own brand'.

So, don't be stunned if Chad drops his surname (hey, anything is better than "Shorty G") and makes way for Gable Steveson on the main roster. The Olympic gold medal winner is someone McMahon sees huge promise in, and he'll move mountains to make sure that nothing stops Steveson from getting over.

Is he Kurt Angle 2.0? Only time will tell.

Gable will have to wrestle in an official match first, and all signs point towards that being against the Alpha Academy leader on Raw sometime soon. Steveson has other commitments he'd like to tie up, but he's getting closer to going full-time with WWE.
